About Us

Accredited Debt Counselling Services (ADCS) has been operational since 2007, when the National Credit Act came into existence. Currently we have two branches, Uitenhage and Graaff-Reinet and service hundreds of satisfied clients within these areas. ADCS is a Close Corporation and is fully BEE compliant, owned by Melanie George.

ADCS is affliated with Consumer Assist that is the largest debt counseling organization in South Africa. Consumer Assist has entrusted us to serve the majority of the Eastern Cape clients for them. Consumer Assist only associates with experience Debt Counsellors who adhere to the code and conduct of acting in the consumers’ best interest, compliance with the NCR fee structure, offer excellence in terms of service and Debt Counsellors who act with integrity.

ADCS is currently opening more branches in the Eastern Cape as our database of clients within this region has grown considerably. We pride ourselves with excellent service and endeavour to be easily accessible for our clients. We believe that being in the areas of our clients will assist in providing the excellent service we strive for as clients have the right to approach the Debt Counsellors when they need priority assistance.

We are confident in our processes as it has been tried and tested. ADCS is also a front runner with a legal department that is dedicated to provide the best possible court arrangement in the best interest of our clients. ADCS has also build a good relationship with the credit world and has settled most of our client cases out of court.

Our Administration Department is to be reckoned with as we are precise with all our administration processes and envisage to give all clients and credit providers up to date information regarding prescribed forms, proposals and all other documents which is included in making the process a success. Our clients are welcome to visit the offices at any stage to see their files and to ask for documentation.

The Finance Department is fully-fledged and entails ensuring that both our clients and the credit providers are serviced as per the National Credit Act. It is our believe, that ADCS strives to assist our clients with payment arrangements and assisting them through the process, but we have also taken the stance that we will not protect non-paying clients. We strive to lighten out clients who misuse the Debt Review process for payment holidays as ADCS aims to provide excellent service to clients who wants the process to work for them.

We are there to assist any over-indebted employed and/or earning clients. ADCS also does assessments in order to establish if a client needs assistance.
